1. First session of Indian national Congress took place in 1885 in Gokuldas Tejpal Sanskrit College, Bombay and W.C. Bannerjee was the president of it.
2. Mughal ruler Bahadurshah -I is known as ‘Bekhabar Badsha’.
3. Surajmal is known as the Plato of the ‘Jats’.
4. The third battle of Panipat was fought in 1761.
5. Pitts India Act was passed in 1784.
6. Vernacular Press Act was passed in 1878.
7. Lord Canning was the first viceroy of India.
8. ‘Sanyasi’ revolt took place from 1763 A.D. to 1800 A.D.
9. Mangal Pandey was the first martyr of the revolt of 1857.
10. Raja Rammohan Roy founded Brahm Samaj in 1828.
11. Sawami Dayanand Saraswati founded Shuddhi Movement.
12. Three Universities were established in India in 1857 in Bombay, Calcutta and Madras.
13. Bankim Chander Chatterjee wrote Anandmath.
14. Partition of Bengal took place on October 16. 1905.
15. Dada Bhai Noroji is known as the ‘Grand Oldman of India'.
16. 'Jaliawalanbagh' massacre took place on April 13, 1919.
17. Non-Cooperation movement was launched  by Mahatma Gandhi on August 1, 1920.
18. 'Do or Die' slogan was given by mahatma Gandhi.
19. 'Gadar' Party was founded by Lala Hardyal.
20. Khudi Ram Bose was hanged on August 11, 1908.
