Murshid Quli Jafar Khan was appointed Governor of Bengal by Aurangjeb in 1705. He was appointed Subedar of Orissa subsequently. He transferred his headquarter from Dacca to Murshidabad, it became the capital of Bengal. Murshid Quli Khan founded a new dynasty of Nawabs in Bengal. He died in 1727.

Suja-ud-din Khan died in 1739.

Sarfraj Khan was killed by Alivardi Khan in 1740 at Gheria.

Alivardi Khan died in 1756.

Siraj-ud-daula ascended to the throne of Bengal in 1956, after the death of Alivardi Khan.

Ghasiti Begum was the eldest dughter of Alivardi Khan.

Mir Jafar was commander-in-chief of the army of Siraj-ud-daula,nawab of Bengal.

Miran was son of Mir Jafar.

Mir Kasim was son-in-law of Mir Jafar.

Mir Jafar died in 1765.
